The Gravenhurst Lions consist of 47 men and women united with a passion to serve others.  Since 1946, our Club has supported countless individuals and organizations in Gravenhurst and around the world.  President Rob Grimes Conducting Vision ScreeningWe come from all walks of life - firefighters, police officers, electricians, and teachers - but each of us lives our motto, "We Serve!"

Our organization is global in scope, founded in 1917 in Chicago, and now has 1.3 million members in 45,000 clubs in over 200 countries.  We are the largest service-organization in the world.  In a recent report of Lions Clubs worldwide, it is estimated that each year Lions Clubs donate approximately US$667 million and 65 million hours of community service
